OSUN ELECTION: APC SPEND ₦60BN FOR VOTE-BUYING — DAVIDO PAPA CLAIMS, SAYS PRAYER HELPED ADELEKE
Businessman Deji Adeleke, papa of Afrobeats star Davido, don claim say APC spend about ₦60 billion on vote-buying during the Osun governorship election.
He alleged say for some areas, people collect as much as ₦50,000 for one vote.
Deji Adeleke also reveal say when he hear about the money wey dey allegedly circulate on election day, he go pray, asking God make voters collect the money but still vote for his brother, Governor Ademola Adeleke.

He said: “God Almighty, let people collect their money but still vote for Ademola Adeleke.”
Adeleke eventually win the election with 511,067 votes, defeating APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who scored 444,815 votes.
However, the claim about the alleged ₦60bn vote-buying came from Deji Adeleke, and no independent evidence of the full amount was provided in the report.
