The gbege start after Wike camp move fast arrange consensus list to choose new party leaders. For that arrangement, dem pick Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary and Abdulrahman Mohammed as National Chairman. Dem argue say consensus go help reduce internal fight and save time and money.
But governors wey dey loyal to Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed sharply reject the plan. Dem talk say the process no follow due process and dey against party constitution and Nigeria law. According to dem, any convention wey come out from that kind arrangement no go stand.
Sources from the governors side talk say reconciliation talks between both camps don crash because Wike group insist say make everybody join the coming national convention and buy forms, while governors dey maintain say the whole process already flawed from the beginning.

Party elders and stakeholders don begin raise alarm, warning say this kind division fit destroy PDP chances for 2027 if dem no quickly settle. Dem dey beg all sides to drop ego, return to negotiation table and build one united front.
