FG Dey Eye $50bn Investment from 22 Offshore Projects
Federal Government, through the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), talk say Nigeria fit attract between $30 billion and $50 billion investment for 22 major offshore oil and gas projects between 2026 and 2030.
According to the commission, the investment go help increase crude oil production, create thousands of jobs, improve oil and gas infrastructure, and strengthen Nigeria energy sector.
NUPRC also talk say recent reforms under the Petroleum Industry Act don boost investors’ confidence. Since 2024, the commission don approve over $57 billion worth of Field Development Plans, with some projects already moving to the final investment stage.
