The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ondo State don come hard on Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa over the death of one young man, wey dem allege say na governor convoy knock am down.
According to PDP, the victim, Good Emiju, lose him life after governor convoy allegedly hit am for Oka-Akoko, headquarters of Akoko South-West Local Government Area, during Aiyedatiwa thank-you tour for the area.
For statement wey PDP Director of Media and Public Communications, Wande Ajayi, release, the party knock the governor for keeping quiet over the incident and raise serious concern over the quick burial of the deceased.
PDP demand clear and transparent explanation from Ondo State Government, say the silence so far dey insensitive, unacceptable and disrespectful to the memory of the young man and him family.

“According to credible tori, dem first rush the victim go General Hospital for Oka-Akoko, but health workers no fit manage the case well because the hospital no dey in good condition. Later dem transfer am go Federal Medical Centre, Owo, where doctors confirm say the boy don die. Surprisingly, dem don bury am,” the statement talk.
PDP also complain say up till now, government never release any official statement to explain wetin really happen or how citizen take lose him life in connection with government convoy.
However, Governor Aiyedatiwa don deny the allegation. Through him Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Allen Sowore, the governor say him convoy no get anything to do with the incident.
“It dey important make we clear am well well say Governor convoy no cause and no involve in any accident that day or any other day since the thank-you tour start for the 18 local governments of the state,” the statement say.
