TOBORE OBOREWORVORI CARRY FREE MEDICAL CARE ENTER BURUTU RIVERINE COMMUNITIES

Wife of Delta State Governor and founder of You Matter Charity Foundation, Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, don extend the Foundation free medical outreach reach Kiagbodo for Burutu Local Government Area, to support vulnerable people for the riverine communities.

The outreach bring together children living with autism and other special needs, caregivers, elderly people and hundreds of residents, wey receive free medical consultation, health screening, drugs and other humanitarian support.

The Foundation also donate 21 wheelchairs to people wey get mobility challenges, with most of them going to adults. Children with autism and other developmental conditions receive physiotherapy toys and assistive learning devices to support their rehabilitation and education.

As part of the humanitarian support, 120 bags of rice were distributed to vulnerable households.

One 27-year-old woman, Ombe Egbaseimokumo, also receive major support as Mrs Oborevwori approve ₦5 million for her hip replacement surgery after she appeal for assistance.

Speaking during the programme, the governor’s wife say the outreach no be only about treating sickness. According to her, the Foundation also dey work to promote inclusion, create awareness and break the stigma wey people living with autism and other special needs dey face.

Burutu Federal Constituency na the fifth federal constituency wey the You Matter Charity Foundation don reach with the medical outreach.

Chairman of Burutu LGA, Julius Takeme, commend the governor’s wife for taking the initiative enter riverine communities, describing am as genuine humanitarian support wey dey improve the lives of vulnerable people for Delta State.
