2027 ELECTION: AISHA YESUFU SAY ELECTION DAY FIT BE NIGERIA REVOLUTION DAY
Activist Aisha Yesufu don talk say Nigerians fit use the 2027 general election as opportunity to bring real change through their votes. According to her, election day fit be the best day for the kind revolution wey many Nigerians dey call for, if citizens come out and vote for candidates wey go truly represent their interests.
Yesufu make the statement during interview with Symfoni TV, where she also argue say INEC as an institution no be the main problem of Nigeria election, but the people wey dey work inside the electoral system.
She say for Nigeria to avoid serious civil unrest, elections must be free, fair and credible, with results wey genuinely reflect the choice of the people. She also raise concern over the differences between the results of the 2023 presidential election and the National Assembly elections, saying such discrepancies fit damage public confidence in democracy.

The activist warn Nigerians say dem no suppose simply sit down dey expect INEC to voluntarily do everything right. Instead, citizens must actively demand accountability and ensure say everybody involved in the electoral process—including INEC officials, security agencies and other stakeholders—follow the rules.
Yesufu further say election day go give Nigerians a peaceful opportunity to demand change without resorting to violence. She urged citizens to remain present and participate actively in the process, stressing that the power to change the country through democracy lies in the hands of the voters.
Her message be say Nigerians must not depend only on the goodwill of electoral officials. Everybody involved in the election process must do the right thing, while citizens must protect their votes and ensure their choices count.
